They mentioned in the hour ong presentation that in V1 there are three ways to change pitch. I believe there is one simplier but more powerful way in V2.
Iād need to watch the presentation again.
Iām wondering if itās worth buying V1 voices from Dreamtonics now and using the āalready usedā upgrade coupon to upgrade them to V2 as V1 are cheaper on AHS???

Is it March 21 yet? Itās going to be a long month.
I just tried this - originally I bought the āupgrade allā voucher and applied it to the 5 voices I had, then I bought the missing sixth voice, but couldnāt see a way to upgrade this one. There isnāt an unused āslotā, the voucher doesnāt appear on my list of purchased products and the sixth voice wasnāt automatically updated so Iāve sent a message to support. Letās see what comes back and how long it takes.

Pricing seems reasonable.
I guess NYL is not a ery succesful VB, hence the lower price?
I think they are doing tte right thing. At 20$, I wouldnt upgrade her, at only 5$, I might, not sure.
Nyl is a very NEW voice! Heās certainly of a comparative quality to the other voices offered by Eclipse Sounds.

Iām only into a few months of my Synth V journey, but I havenāt yet found a use for NYL. I bought NYL shortly after Solaria, hopefully as a huskier alternative, but found it to be really ā¦ dunno, hard to listen to.
I too wasnāt going to upgrade NYL but for $5 it would be rude not to to at least explore the new version

You have a point, it might rude to ask for money again for such a new voice. Maybe that is the reason. But I canāt help but think that NYL is the least popular of their VBs (being the newest might also be playing a role).
Who knows, but being new he hasnāt had time to establish himself yetā¦ watch that space as they say - 
Play around with the gender slider - you may prefer a different setting
Move to the right for a more masculine sound.
You can also use the tone shift slider
Move to the left for less of a nasal quality.
IE Gender right + Tone Shift left for a better male soundā¦

Good News!
You can now reapply your upgrade all voices voucher to new V1 ones purchased since you applied the voucher. So if you are thinking of buying more, but not just yet you wonāt have to spend the full amount on upgrading the othersā¦ I think !!!
I had 5 - bought a voucher for all and upgraded these, then bought another and tried to reapply the voucher but it wouldnāt saying Iād already used it. Wrote to Dreamtonics, they havenāt replied (maybe they will tomorrow?), but trying the same again today and it worked - the new voice was offered for upgrade.
Hope that makes sense ???

@Bobox thanks for the tips on using NYL. Tried them out quickly and it does look as though I need to be more āassertiveā with the NYL settings to get the best out of him/her.
Solaria on the other hand has responded very well to the slightest of tweaks to tension and tone to improve the sound.

I was adding my products to the Dreamtonics page so I can update them, but I canāt see the way to do so with Mai. Is it possible or she can not be updated as a regular, payed for, VB?
When you purchase version 2 of SynthV, you will have the choice (March 21st):
Synthesizer V Studio 2 Pro includes a complimentary voice which can be chosen from the following options:
- Mai 2: The upgraded version of Mai, the Japanese female voice bundled with Synthesizer V Studio Pro version 1.
- Liam: Dreamtonicsā new male classic Pop/Rock voice native in English.
- Mo Xu: Dreamtonicsā new female R&B voice native in Mandarin.

I guess a free compatibility version 1 will also be available for Synth V2.

Yeah, I just preordered V2, but I guess we wonĀ“t be able to select the free voice until it is released.
Mai will become visible on SV1 accounts and can be upgraded along with other voices shortly before the official release on 21st March so I recall reading.
This means for me, itās best to use my upgrade all voices on Mai and opt for Liam 2.
Iām really getting excited now !

OK, lets see. I will wait and hold on my upgrade in case she shows up. I own 5 Dreamtonics VBs apart from Mai, so I could ger her upgraded for free if I could add her to my account before upgrading, and ootimg for the 5 or more VBs pricing.
For my V2 voice, I would like rather choose Liam.
