Thanks for the heads up! I have the upgrade offer for Synth V Pro in my basket but I can’t seem to locate that Upgrade offer for my vocal databases? I have Natalie, Kevin, Ritchie , Asterian, Hayden… and some more but I don’t get an upgrade offer. Would you be so kind as to provide a link to that righthand screen?
And it’s interesting to see the voice list in V2 for Dreamtonics (seen in the my.dreamtonics.com): 28 voices in V2 to pre-order!
An Xiao, Ayame, Cheng Xiao, Cong Zheng, D-Lin
Eri, Felicia, Feng Yi, Hayden, Jin, Kevin
Ling Wan, Lin Lai, Mo Chen, Natalie, Ninezero
Qing Su, Riku, Ritchy, Ryo, Saki, Sheena
Weina, Wei Shu, Xuan Yu, Yi Xi, Yuma, Yun Quan
A question: I’ve got my Synth V purchased from Dreamtonics site. Now I noticed that it’s a lot cheaper for Europeans to get the upgrade from AHS site.
But is it possible to use an upgrade to V2 from AHS to V from Dreamtonics?
19$ for only one and 79 for “any” voices.
But when I receive the invoice, I read:
“Dreamtonics Voice Upgrade 6 Voices” !!!
So I sent an email to the Dreamtonics support to understand this meaning.
But I also understand that “any” voices for a Dreamtonics point of view, not for others voicebanks manufacturers.
Exciting news! And a good pricing structure for sure!
Just placed the upgrade order - does anyone know if Solaria is classed as one of the Dreamtonics voice upgrades, or do we have to wait for Eclipsed to advise us on how we do that?
(I also have NYL but have been very disappointed with that one - I may choose not to upgrade as I haven’t found a project I can use that one on … unless V2 has significant improvements).
Regarding solaria and the other voices associated with eclipsound
. I have spoken with their support. The information I have is that they will introduce a similar price strategy for those voices as well.
This means that upgrading from Voicebank V2 to “Any” voice for $79 is not enough. We also have to pay for other voices besides the Dreamtonics voicebank.
Does anyone know what’s the upgrade deal for AH Soft voices? Looking at this page, it seems like you can get V2 compatible voices for free, but they won’t support any of the new functionality.
Hopefully, the old V1 voices will get updated with the new features as well.
I can’t find where it says if AHS will update their existing voices or not. Currently, they are only listing 3 voices for V2 and 2 of them are new. What about the other ones? https://www.ah-soft.com/synth-v/index.html
To me that maybe means the voices will run on Synth V2. Not that you are going to get the new V2.0 of the voice banks (which are available as an upgrade price from their original release versions - or as full price if you don’t already have a voice). Two different V2s.
I went into the Product Manager and entered my Synth V Pro activation code and then entered my codes for the 6 voices I purchased, all directly from Dreamtonics. I noticed when I finished, my products were marked as follows,
Synthesizer V Studio Pro - no upgrade option
SOLARIA - no upgrade option
Hayden - option to “Upgrade to Version 2”
Natalie - option to “Upgrade to Version 2”
Kevin - option to “Upgrade to Version 2”
Felicia - option to “Upgrade to Version 2”
ASTERIAN - no upgrade option
Questions…
Once Eclipsed announces release of SOLARIA and ASTERIAN will these also be upgradeable through Dreamtonics since I purchased them here?
Why is the main program not listed as upgradeable on the My Products page?
Is Mai going to be upgraded to version 2 and free with the program update?
I understand Dreamtonics does not respond here and forum users prolly don’t know the answers to these but I thought I’d ask in case anyone has any info from Dreamtonics!
OK, so my question #3 is answered on the Dreamtonics website as follows,
Synthesizer V Studio 2 Pro includes a complementary voice which can be chosen from the following options:
Mai 2: The upgraded version of Mai, the Japanese female voice bundled with Synthesizer V Studio Pro version 1.
Liam: Dreamtonics’ new male classic Pop/Rock voice native in English.
Mo Xu: Dreamtonics’ new female R&B voice native in Mandarin.
New question…is Liam a new voice designed to version 2 or is he a version 1 voice?
