What do you think are the worst phoneme pronunciation bugs in 2.3.0tp1 French, German and Portuguese?
As a native German speaker, I often find that the German phonemes require correction.
One issue that comes up repeatedly:
Words containing a sequence of vowels that are meant to be articulated or sung in a connected manner (often found in names like Leo, Maria, etc.) are separated by the Synth V engine with a “cl” phoneme. This sounds unnatural, so I regularly delete these “cl” phonemes.
How customizable are the phenomenons?
Would I have to do that with every word with a custom dictionary or just specific words? Also, this doesn’t really change how the voice banks pronounce things in general, huh? I didn’t realize that all the Dreamtonics Voices could sing in English, so my plan is to ALL OF THEM. but I can tell with some words that they’re totally not English speaking native. I mean, which is fine. Sheena’s accent is the cutest thing in the universe. But sometimes their pronunciations make it hard to understand what they’re singing no matter hard I tweak the Phenoms. But if working with a custom dictionary can help in the articulation of some of the words that would rule!
Yes, that’s how it is.

The articulation is, in a certain way, also influenced by the chosen phonemes.
And many improvements can be achieved via the phoneme timing lane.
Only the words you wish to change, anything not in your custom dictionary will default back to the standard dictionary. That dictionary will be saved as part of the current song project, not used for further projects unless you copy it over (this allows a project to have special words without messing future work up).
Note that capital letters are differentiated from lower case, a dictionary entry for “Two” will not be used for “two” or “TWO”.
Dictionaries For Newbies is an example of changing one word into a phrase using the dictionary.
Script - To Language Phoneme (Customizable) might be worth a look at to push pronunciation even further.

In the phoneme dictionary for the German language
C:\Program Files\Synthesizer V Studio 2 Pro\clf-data\german-xsampa-dict.txt
installed with Synth V, the glottal stop phoneme “cl” does not appear at all between two vowels—at least, that is what I found when I checked.
I don’t understand why Synth V keeps automatically inserting the “cl” phoneme.
What version are you using? If you’re using 2.3.0 Public Preview version, then it’s because this is a pre-beta. Gonna find lotsa bugs. So let’s hope they address this when they do another release
In my case its the opposite, our language has a lot of words that have glottal stops in the beginning middle and last syllables, even at the end of words. I use spanish to replicate these glottal stops, in spanish i cannot put glottal stops automatically using library, I would like to replicate this to help me automate these cl’s rather than input them always.
