Is there a keyboard shortcut for moving up and down a note?

I just want to move notes faster with the keyboard but the only thing I found on the shortcuts are by a whole octave.

Apart from the octave shift shortcut, there is only the general transpose function (CTRL-T), which opens a dialog box in which the number of semitones must be entered.
To change the pitch by a semitone quickly and without a dialog, you could use a script and assign a keyboard command for it.

definitely using the note move scripts will speed things up. i have them mapped to my cursor keys left-right up-down, and it’s really a time saver when you have notes which are not perfectly on the grid and moving them causes them to be disconnected from the other notes or overlap (rendering them silent).

Very helpful info. I had not really looked at scripts but wanted to move notes with the cursor keys. Works great! And lots of other helpful possibilities. Thanks.

The possibilities are endless (thanks to the scripting language).
