Am I the only one who thinks Dreamitonics is taking forever to get the update done for Synthesizer V Studio 2 Pro? What new features would you like to be in the final release for 2.3.0?

- the correction of bugs found in 2.3.0 tp1
- The support of new languages started with French and German for example

I don’t trust them anymore. I really think they don’t care at all about their users.
Whatever features we will ask for, they will NEVER add them… They never read the forum, and the support never replies to emails, apart from the same bland sentence : “While we cannot guarantee immediate implementation, your input will definitely be taken into account as we continue to improve our product and prioritize upcoming features.”
AKA the same automatic message, in every reply. Followed by the equally bland “Thank you again for your interest in our products. We hope you have a nice day”.
Which to me does just mean, “We don’t care at all. Thanks a lot for giving us money, but we don’t give a single fuck about you, our users. But while you wait for improvements that will never come, please check out our brand new Instrument collection !”

I’m so glad knowing you feel as strongly about this as I do. It was such an unprofessional move to release a new product before finalizing the latest release for their mother ship product…aka “they only reason what brought us here in the first place” this would be like if Apple released a Beta version of iOS that claims to have holograms, but crashes your phone all the time. And then to release Home stereo units (the iRok home system with iWoof subwoofer speakers) before the even completed the final release of this hypothetical new version of iOS. And what’s making me even more annoyed is how most of the users always reply “Yeah, but have you tried out Instrument X? It sounds so good” It’s like screaming into the void

But yeah, the summary of what we all want from v 2.3.0 is to have Dreamtonics understand they concept of “Priorities” and to “not alienate their user base” and to “Finish things you started first before releasing a new product, because ADHD is not a good business model” (I only say that because I have a severe case of ADHD, and I have done similar maneuvers which collapsed my own businesses and projects)

On the other hand, when I sent a feature request for expansion of capabilities of user scripts (namely for detuning notes), they implemented it quickly. Thanks to them, I was able to make my Tuner script. What I conclude is that some of your desired features are just taking time to be implemented. So please have patience and stop verbally attacking the devs.

Ever heard of “finish what you started first before you move on to the next thing?” This isn’t about features really. It’s Bout a company who started off with a technical preview, haven’t provided any updates and then releases a new instrument that has nothing to do with vocal synthasis. This isn’t about stability, this isn’t about features, this isn’t about “well, they can release two things at once” because they didn’t. They release one thing at once and it wasn’t the final version of V 2.3.0 We don’t even have a beta proper: a technical preview is basically alpha software. So this just about a company that suddenly shifted their priority out of the blue. This has nothing to do with being patient on our end. This has everything to do with fulfilling their side of the bargain.
Do you think they could’ve finished SynthV 2.3 if they paid more concentration? What’s your justification? Have you heard of Amdahl’s law?

Your experience with the support is not my experience with them. I don’t have to explain which features or feedback I sent them, I don’t have to justify anything I think or write, and I don’t care about your being super happy with their service. I have my reasons to rant about Dreamtonics, I’m free to express them, and I’m not asking for people to comment on my behaviour. I don’t need your or anyone’s advice on being patient. So please leave me ranting and stop harassing me on the forum.
