Discovering SynthV has reignited my passion for making music after years of barely touching a DAW. I’ve been experimenting with it in genres I’d never attempted before, and it’s been such a fun experience!
This is my first attempt at non-electronic music:
I really like the mood you’re creating here. Your instrumentation, lyrics and overall sound reinforce the vibe really well, to my ears. I do feel like the voices get lost in the mix in places where the instrumentation is very dense, for instance around the 1:10 section. But overall a cool piece!
Thanks! You’re right about the vocals. I wanted to improve the mix for added clarity since it sounded a bit muddy to me. Unfortunately, after updating my plugins, the project stopped opening correctly, so I had to settle for the current version.
I really like this piece too, great job!
From 1:37, I preferred a sound of cello bows so that the rhythmic sound could be more orchestral. And at 3:40, the sound of cymbals completely crushes the other instruments (generate too much trebles).
