I like this as much as your last song, or even slightly more, since it’s heavier and the chord progression, though simple, has a certain vibe for me. But somehow - did Suno contribute to the lyrics, too? they seem to me not as smoothly applied as in your last song. But I am no English native speaker.
I wrote them. I don’t use AI for writing lyrics–I am to blame. ![]()
(O sh…t, how many characters does a smiley count?)
I find the constant fry/gravel in the vocals to be a bit much. It seems like it would be more effective (and natural) if it was something the singer was dialing up and down. Do you have any control over that when Suno does the final vocals?
Sadly, there is not much I can do about it, except maybe make the song into one of those mumble songs LOL. Suno is promising improved audio quality in early 2026. Hopefully that fixes it or provides more tools.
it may also be choosing a different voice to solve it. dunno, i’m just starting to explore the SoundID VoiceAI and the many voices it has…
I like it, is catchy and while melodic, still has a good power to it. Congrats!
Suno AI doesn’t let you choose voices. You describe what you want for a voice, and it provides one or it listens to your song if you’re doing a cover and it uses a similar one. They are trying to avoid the situation where you have the same voice doing 1000’s of songs for different artists/producers/bands. If you go to their home page and sign up, you can see 100’s of songs posted. Many have similar sounding voices, but none identical. This is all in Beta. I hope they can pull it off.
