It’s new song day from me again, this time a thunderous Muse-style rock epic celebrating the interminable meeting that shouldn’t have been.

Loving me the Prog Rockness! So killer! Yeah, and I’m glad someone else is about them more comedic type songs. I mean, just because a song is funny doesn’t mean it can’t rock. And this does. And what’s so funny to me is that I had chatGPT generate about 250 song idea prompts that are comical, sardonic, or just straight up bratty. And of course it came up with “This meeting could have been an email” So now, I’m gonna switch it around and have mines be '"This email could have been a meeting” about a lonely remote worker who wishes they’d be treated like one of the in-office team

Thanks for the kind words. That’s a great idea! I’m proud to say that this song is AI-free, though there is definitely quite a lot of algorithmic assistance going on; I’m now much more likely to use Scaler than an LLM.
Yeah, I don’t quite think using ChatGPT to provide me a list of song concept prompts as using “AI”, as in “having it do all the work” It’s no different than doing a Google search. I just wanted a lot! I have over a 1000+ song seeds in various DAWs and I just want to see if I can get a melody idea happening in all of them. My bucket list is to have 2000 songs completed while I’m still alive

The title grabbed me. I swear the Corp I used to work for employed people for the sole purpose of creating meetings and mass international conference calls. About nothing.
And so your track provides a certain catharsis, and lots of people will identify. Based on the few Muse tracks I’ve heard, it has that vibe. I haven’t heard Archie before. Works well for the track. Well done.
