I want to move a song to a new Mac but don’t know where the Presets for a voice are stored and when I moved the song the preset didn’t come with it.
Can you explain which presets you are refering to?
I thought the .svp file contained all the tuning information for a song, requiring only the voice to be reselected on exporting to a new machine.
When you save the settings for a voice it’s called a preset. The combination of Loudness, Tension etc. It doesn’t appear to be saved in the song.
It is located in the default path “settings” (same as databases & scripts…).
In SynthV, go to the Scripts menu then “Open scripts folder”.
The location depends on your system, on Windows:
C:\Users\username\OneDrive\Documents\Dreamtonics\Synthesizer V Studio
You will find a subfolder named: settings
And inside, there is a file: voice-presets.json
With the content tag: “presetList”
Im using a Mac and the corresponding file is /Library/Application\ Support/Dreamtonics/Synthesizer\ V\ Studio/settings/voice-presets.json
thanks
