Hello, I am new to the forum
I just wanted to share with people here my latest song using Solaria. I am not a very good writer or singer but I have always wanted to get better at it. Any feedback is very much appreciated!

Who said you’re not a good writer? Certainly you are!
I freakin’ love this, it’s awesome!! All those glitchy vocals and synths are ace and I love the rocky drums, great arrangement work.
The only vocal tips I can offer are try duplicating the voices so you have two or three whole takes of the same parts using the “pitch” and “timbre” AI retakes to create variation (so they don’t cause big phase issues). Maybe stack these with some harmony parts too, this should make for a really thick, wide sound. I also like to pull the “gender” slider slightly negative too, which makes Solaria’s voice a little more youthful.
Seriously though, fantastic work! Out of interest, what are you using to produce your tracks in terms of instruments, DAW etc?
thank you for your kind words! i think i am just being too insecure sometimes.
thank you for your kind words!
wow i haven’t look into the retakes part and haven’t even thinking about changing the pitch and timbre on the harmonies and doubles to make it not phase! these are really good tips i will definitely keep them in mind for future projects! thank you!
for software, i use fl studio 2024, for drums i use addictive drums, guitars are shreddage and ample guitar. mixing stuff is just fab filter and stock fl studio plugins! i hope this helps if u have more question please feel free to ask!
Hi. I’m an old jazz guy, and don’t feel qualified to comment on the song itself, though I did enjoy it. But my comment is on the mix - the upper midrange instruments are masking the voice, I suggest using EQ and compression to carve out a space for the voice, it will improve the clarity of the message.
Keep learning, you’re doing great!
thank you for your kind words! i think mixing has always been a thing that i struggle with, especially when it comes to vocal. and the mid range to me is where i find it hard to pick up on these things. i will definitely take in consideration your advice! thank you and have a great day!
Really great and original song. Very good work. I like the chip/tracker like parts.
