I don’t see many blues covers around here here are some I did while learning how to use synth V.

I’ve been sleeping on Solaria. I’ve wanted a compliment for Felicia and Solaria might be the ticket. Good work!
I like ‘em! Good job, I have not made them work in that context yet…
These are great – I’ve found it’s really hard to make SV voices sound loose and laid back!
Love the drums on Hoochie Coochie Man in particular, lots of air and space around them. How did you do them?
I’ve not seen Solaria Lite; it sounds kind of grainy compared to the normal version?
I am using the drummer from GarageBand. It takes a bit of tweaking but I like how simple it is. Then I export and load drums into Ardour and mix them in with the rest of the tracks.
Solaria Lite was the free version which was available with SV1. They took all Lite voices down with v2.
Thank you! Yes, they work well with the well defined melody which very much does not exist in Blues and Rock. There are only couple of notes and lots of talking and yelling
. I am still learning SV, it takes time to get something useful. First takes usually sound like a pile of crap and they need lots of tweaking to get it somewhere.
Just started working on “call me the breeze”. It sounds really depressing, not sure if I can get anything useful there.
Oh, right – I use Logic’s drummer (same as GB I suspect) a lot, it’s really good.
Solaria is really easy to control, but I often find it sounds a little babyish, so I usually nudge up the gender slider to give it a bit more beef.
