And you’re not informed about it beforehand. Honestly, that’s going too far. There’s nothing about it in the manual either.
I was just about to buy it. But unfortunately, that’s a no-go.
I’m not gonna try to advocate for why you need to send in your ID for Vocoflex but saying that there’s no warning or that you’re not informed beforehand is disingenuous tbh? They say this on their main page for Vocoflex and specify exactly why the ID’s are needed. Is it sensible? I don’t know? But they are transparent about it. And they even clarified in a blog post that any ID’s in the server automatically get deleted once it’s confirmed to be legit. You don’t have to buy Vocoflex and nobody’s gonna force you to. Just know that they ARE transparent about needing ID’s.
Thanks for pointing that out. I hadn’t seen that, my mistake. But it doesn’t change my decision not to buy vocoflex. I’ve already found an alternative.
But in the end, everyone has to decide for themselves.
