I thank you - emotional song with Natalie

One post here was “how to get emotion into it ?”. I think thats the perfect description of what music is and whats the challenge with making music in a tin can. I tried my very best.

I find her singing to carry a lot of emotion. Well done. The only thing that I feel is not working is the harmony voices in the 1st and 2nd verses. Particularly having them come in so soon in the 1st verse, sort of gets in the way of the intimacy to me. In contrast, I think the harmony works wonderfully in the choruses, a very warm background group sound.

Thanks Keith, will have a look to it. I was inspired by true colours of cindy l. - seems that she did it a bit better

Wow, this song is a little jewel, very good! Perhaps leaving out the harmony on the first verse is better. On the second verse it is not a problem for me. If the emotional effect was your objective, you surely got it. Very beautiful song!

Thanks a lot. I‘m in train to compose another song with natalie for weeks but always changing things. And then my wife came along asking what i‘m doing. So i created this song leaving the other  But the other song „When love was easy“ will be finished soon - i hope.

Hi,

Very mellow and chilled, I really like it, but I dont get the chord change later. In my opinion it doesnt match the first part of the song which is kind off cyndy l esque. Also reminds me of Fast Car by Tracy Chapman a bit. Nothing wrong with that! Great song.

Thanks - yes its a bit unconventional - as my wife :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:
