I find it would sometimes be nice to be able to invoke tenderness in a verse, to have the singers to do a little vocal fry , is this a deliberate mechanic that can be implemented in synthesiser V in the future ?
I sometimes hear it in demo videos but it seems that you don’t have control over it, or do you ?
I totally agree with this, since I think it’s a very important detail to add character to vocals.
I’m not sure what would be the best/easiest way to implement this.
Maybe it could be handled in similar fashion that how breaths [br] work preferably in combination with a pre or post letter so it would be possible to start a word like “m[fry]yeah”, “e[fry]yeah”, “o[fry]yeah”, “yeah[fry]” or ye[fry]ah. Not sure what would be most logical, to have it in the phoneme, in a word inside a note or a separate note like breath [br]. If the fry in in the middle of a word it should be easy to move it around to when it should occur.
Anyway it would be awesome to be able to insert vocal fry in the beginning, the end as well as in the middle of words.

Yes, i also like how the woman in this video actually gives a manual for this. Know when to use it , on what word to accent that tender or brittleness, or maybe infuse a little erotism in a love song. But use it too much and then it becomes too surreal again.
But it would be nice if it’s a certain semaphor like br, the punctuations to soften or make consonants more snappy etc … Not also sure that you should have exact control on how long the voice will do it, because people might want to stretch it and then your singer is going to sound like a zombie… A little control within a randomly generated fry take , where to place it: that would be nice.
I have been trying to replicate this since version 1. 
Haven’t quite got there, but I do have better results with v2 that v1 and I feel I’m getting closer. I’ll try and do a quick video to show where I am. Maybe the community can take the idea and refine it.
This is how I make it happen.
If you want it done without any notes in the beginning, then you do it like this.
When it’s done for a second note that connects to the first, you can determine the second note’s length that’s been split. When it’s done before any notes, you can choose how long you want the pronunciation of “cl“ to be (that’s CL) when you pull up the “phoneme timing“. This same technique can be done in version 1, as well.
That’s certainly a lot faster than my version.

Would it be possible to make it work in mid phrase too? Like she does in the video.
That’s how it looks when she did the vocal fry before the word and in the middle of the word at the same time. It sounds very similar to her, but not exact, of course. Once again, you can lengthen or shorten the “cl“ pronunciation.
