Find a solo tenor

Hello everyone,

I regularly look for solo tenor voices capable of singing both pop and classical styles. I have the impression (although I might be mistaken) that there is currently no SynthV voicebank that matches what I’m looking for. I’m searching for powerful, ‘voiced’ tenors — a blend between pop and opera — similar to :

Florent Pagny, Patrick Fiori, Josh Groban, Adam Lambert, Alfie Boe, Russell Watson, Luis Miguel, David Bisbal, Dimash Kudaibergen, Wang Leehom, Masayuki Suzuki, GACKT, Lim Hyung‑joo, or Kim Jin‑ho, as well as Andrea Bocelli.

They should be capable of both strength and delicacy, with refined and well‑defined timbres.
Do such voicebanks exist? What would you recommend?

For the other vocal categories (Soprano / Alto / Bass), I already have everything I need with Galeneia, Solaria, Felicia, Weina, Asterian, and Lang Chuan.

Thank you in advance for your help!

What about Saros? Or Hayden, maybe?

Hello, thank you for your answer. These are not vocal banks that I have. But they don’t give me the impression of being pop-lyric tenors. Maybe I’m wrong?

Saros

  • Bright, modern timbre

  • Excellent pop/rock power

  • Lots of modes for shaping the sound, but fundamentally a pop-style vocal production, not a classical/lyric placement

  • No vocal covering, no soft-palate “lift” typical of classical singing

  • Lacks the verticality and density of a true lyric timbre

:backhand_index_pointing_right: Even when pushed to its limits, Saros remains a studio pop tenor, not a “doubled” pop-opera tenor.

Hayden

  • Warm timbre, but still very pop-oriented, slightly baritenor

  • Airy, emotional voice, not designed for lyric projection

  • No real sense of an appoggio/air column or classical vocal arch in the vowels

Lang Chuan maybe? He’s more of a baritone or bass though. If you want a true tenor, more higher pitched… I have no idea. Xuan Yu is too pop-like I think? Andi Vesper is too soft, SAROS is too high pitched and too much falsetto… I have no idea.

Actually, since my post, Dreamtonics has released the voice SHUN, which fits that role perfectly; it’s exactly what I had been waiting for. He’s an excellent tenor. As for LANG CHUAN, which I also purchased, he’s an outstanding bass.

I love Shun, especially when combined with the new language function. I am hoping to be able to buy his voicebank but in my country there’s taxes and inflation so it’s very hard to earn that much money. Someone made a wonderful cover. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yXKFRy9R3Y8

Some people also say he sounds like VOCALOID Kaito. I’m very bad at identifying voices but I’ve just listened to some samples and I can definitely hear the similarity
