Hi there, yes, sorry, I know I already uploaded a lot the last weeks. I guess it’s better to take a little break now. But what shall I do, my band is searching for a bass player and the drummer has hurt his shoulder, there is no giging, no rehearsing, and somehow I have to make music in one way or another …
This is a brand-new song, I wrote it the last couple of days.
Felix is a male voice I developed by playing around with Felicia. I’m very glad that I have decided to let him sing this song, he does a great job. If you’re tired of all that prog doodling and want to stop listening to the song, give it one more try and go to 5:40 - that’s the section that justifies uploading the song in a forum for a vocals-plugin.
The guitar solo is played by the guitarist of my band.
I’ll write you later, I’m going to the studio tomorrow.
Nice to hear! So we soon gonna hear something from you, great. Have a great time, much pleasure, all good results you can imagine. I remember going to a studio was always some kind of adventure. ![]()
I guess it should not be a surprise that Felix can sing, since his sister Felicia has such a good voice! Now I’ll have to see if Solaria’s brother… Soren?? Simon?? can also sing.
Wow, love your experimenting(s), very good use of Felicia!
Solarium?
Good luck! ![]()
(Had to add something, 20 letters minimum…)

While listening on SoundCloud, I didn’t even realize it was Felicia. Incredible! I’ll have to try that once.
The guitar sounded incredibly realistic, and now it makes sense why ![]()
It’s interesting to read the description after listening.
The keyboard solos are really cool too with some use of the mono polyphony, and the harmonies in the chorus are amazing—they actually remind me of Ninezero.
The mix is much better compared to your earlier tracks.
You don’t say - a guitar that sounds like a guitar?!
Then the mix is really better
More than two years’ difference of experience - indeed the song was first recorded in January 2023 -, and your critique of course urged me to take more care of the mix. Originally, these recordings served only as tool for deciding which song we want to play and for preparing the rehearsals.
Thank you a 1000 times for your constant support, your valuable hints, the comments on Soundcloud, the reposting of songs… All the more I’m longing for my band getting back on the road, and if hotel prices are low enough out of season you’d have to organize a prog metal evening for your band with special guest
We certainly could offer an exchange concert in eastern northrhine-westphalia if you would not eschew the effort for, well, 150 people in the audience would be fine here.
That would be pretty cool to share a stage! Unfortunately, I’m not playing in a prog band these days, just a small rock cover band with very limited ambitions. But who knows, maybe one day…
greasing hope you find a bass player
That is quite impressive. Well done.
I’m currently working on several songs at the same time and they are in preparation. In the studio, I was finishing the foundation on which I have to write lyrics for the finished melody and sing it. Here, my partner will be Galenaia, who sings Czech better than the others (in my opinion), because Spanish is closer to Czech than English, especially in vowels, where they Spanish are not so different from Czech. I definitely welcome any other European language, because I am not familiar with Asian ones (although it might also be possible to find a good solution in the pronunciation of Czech, but I simply don’t see it). European languages I have listened to more already earlier. I have been listening to songs in European languages for many years, but I have been listening to songs in Asian languages for a short time, thanks to the Synthesizer from Dreamtonics, which introduced me to them and I am glad that I was able to expand my musical horizons.
I’m looking forward to all your songs!
