can the voice databases be moved to an external drive? They are large and my local drive is full … I note that caches CAN be located externally.
As far as I’m aware. There is not a way to do that.
It is possible with a symbolic folder.
1/ Close SynthV2 application (plugin & standalone)
2/ Copy your database folder to a new disk (ie disk D:)
3/ Create inside the Synthesizer V Studio 2 folder a database symbolic subfolder
Windows (cmd admin):
mklink /D “C:\path\to\original\database” “D:\path\to\destination\symbolic_link_name”
or MAC:
ln -s /path/to/original /path/to/destination/symbolic_link_name
4/ Open SynthV2
