FYI, for those writing lyrics in English, the Choir 1 has slight Asian accent. I hope they redo the voices someday with native English speakers.
I’m getting the same accent in Choir #3 which is more than a little off-putting. I went with #3 because it sounded better than 1 or 2 for my purposes but on further scrutiny it’s very disappointing. I’m getting the hint this app was programmed up with little more than a general feel for the Western cannon of music and marketed to Western users as the be-all-end-all for choral mockups. Oh well.
Of the 3 sound banks, this sounded the best during my trial period testing and most articulated for what I am trying to accomplish; that said, besides the fact that feature list you circled there says 6 languages are supported, the OP here comments on bank 1 as having the same accent which I do remember being annoyed with during trial testing. I had objections to bank 2 as well which left bank 3 as seemingly the best option that I was willing to go with. In the end, the whooping-glissando is the ultimate buzz-kill and, while fa-ra-ra-ra-ra is problematic, it is something I could heave dealt with.
I cannot deal with automation that cannot render pitches and melody properly. I’m kicking myself for not going with EWQL Symphonic Choirs… which I will do after some more investigation.
I made a video to compare the 3 choirs:
Choir 1 sounds the best which makes sense since it was recorded in English.
