Cannot Deactivate Offline License (SOLVED)

Hello everyone.

This is my first post to the Dreamtonics User Forum.

I have been a loyal user of Synthesizer V 2 since June 2025.

A month or so ago, I had switched from my old Windows laptop to my newer setup after in August it had randomly shut off and permanently black-screened me even after I devised many-a-methods to get my computer to turn on.

I managed to get it to turn on by ordering a new battery part and it had just enough charge that I could pull my data off the computer. However, I was not aware I had an offline license activated on SynthV 2 nor did I have enough time to inspect it to remove it. I now cannot turn my computer on and every time I try to boot up on my new computer, it tells me “Offline license conflict…Please deactivate your offline license…” Which is all good and great, but I LITERALLY can’t turn my broken computer, nor can I remotely deactivate it!

The strangest part is, at first it was super wishy-washy about whether it wanted to let me in or not. It would let me in one day but kick me out the next day. I am so tired of being hard-locked out of the software I paid for all because of a hardware failure I cannot reverse. I have tried in the recent past to email them, but alas, they have NOT responded to any of my emails.

If a Dreamtonics staff member sees this post, I beg of you, I will do literally anything to have my offline license revoked from my old computer. I do not have the original purchase code but I can send you screenshots of the issue plus my login for my account and the name of the old laptop (which all 3 have been withheld for security reasons) if somebody is able to respond to my emails!!

Thank you for reading.

It’s super easy to fix. Contact their Customer Support. Press “Submit a Request.” And from their drop down menu, select, “Offline License Reset” and fill out any information you need. You may have to wait for the Support Team to respond but they’re usually really quick.

EDIT: I just seen you tried to email them. I’m not sure how you accomplished that but using their support site is the best way to reach them. So I’m hoping it works out for you.
