Hi #ethicalartifacts, as I announced in my answer to your commentary to my song „I find no relief“, I have listened to your songs again trying to learn what makes a real banger. This is the result, you’ll have to jugde how far I have succeeded. Somehow Hxvoc and Solaria won’t tell me, I hope that’s not a bad sign. 
I learned while working on the song, that shortness is something that can indeed give a song some extra impact, energy, punch. Keeping heads banging for 9 minutes is a difficult task…
By „ballad“, I don’t mean a slow love song, but those poems with much text that unfold not the emotions of one single person, but a story with some action.
I have to admit that this is a song that my band could only perform in a somewhat simplified version, regarding the rhythms of the kick drum which is often followed by bass and guitars.
