Voice to Midi Conversion in V2?

Hi V2 with Cubase 14.
I have one question. What does “Transfer pitch onto converted notes” do in V2? As far as I understand there is no manual mode anymore. I assume this checkbox does nothing, right?

I don’t know, but when I used voice to midi (in V2), if I enable this option, my song sounds weird at several places, but it sounds ok if I don’t enable this option.

This might be due to my source audio though, split stems from a Suno-generated song.

Never used V1, so I don’t know how it used to behave.
