V2 made my PC unstable

After several days of weird issues on my PC, I have uninstalled Synth V Pro V2.

I’m not sure how or why, but my PC has been glitchy ever since I installed V2. There were no other updates/installs during that time. I have now uninstalled V2, and everything is back to normal.

My machine is a hefty beast, so it can normally handle anything:

Processor - AMD Ryzen 9 5950X 16-Core Processor 3.40 GHz
Motherboard - ASUS X570 Taichi
GPU - NVIDIA RTX 2080 Ti
RAM - 128 GB
OS - Windows 11 64-bit

Has anyone else had issues like this?

Intel Core i7-13850HX 20core 5.3GHz
Dell Mobile Precision 7780 BTX
NVidia RTX 3500 Ada 12GB GDDR6
32GB CAMM 5600MT/s
Win11 Pro

SynthV1 and SynthV2 both playing nicely (one at a time).
Never had a single hiccup :person_shrugging:

Will have to bite the bullet soon and upgrade I suppose …

SV1, SV2 running okay only issue at first was blank Settings panel - but that resolved itself on second startup?

SV1 has worked great for many years …then I loaded SV2. Now I know these two are supposed to be separate pieces of software; however, for the first time ever, I started getting problems with SV1.

I uninstalled SV2 and then SV1 went crazy, crashing Cubase 14. So I had to reinstall SV1 …and now all is ok.

Weird!

My machine is very similar to yours except different manufacturer. No problems here.
