I’m about to purchase the Synthesizer V Studio 2 Pro Upgrade since I already own Synthesizer V Studio 1 Pro. However, I bought the original version from AHS instead of Dreamtonics. I have the license key and activation codes for it, but I’m unsure if they will work for the upgrade or if I need to have purchased Synthesizer V Studio 1 Pro directly from Dreamtonics for the upgrade to be valid.
It’s possible.
Go to AHS website and login from Mypage. If V1 is already registered there, you should see an upgrade path there with discounted prices. Once purchased you will get an activation code.
You will finally need to re-register all your products (inc V1 and all voices) and the upgrade codes at Dreamtonics website though.
I assume you can read Japanese, so you may want the refer to this site.

Maybe I have misunderstood.
If you WANT to buy from Dreamtonics this time and not AHS, I am not sure but you can try.
First register your V1 at Dreamtonics website and see if an upgrade path appears.
Thank you for your assistance. The first link you provided was helpful, but I ultimately didn’t need it. I successfully purchased the Synthesizer V Studio 2 Pro Upgrade from Dreamtonics, and the activation code from AHS worked. However, I still have an issue with receiving the upgraded V2 voices from V1. Although I redeemed the V1 to V2 voices and activated the code, it only worked for MAI 2 and Laim; the other voices didn’t activate despite my attempts. It seems I needed to buy the Synthesizer V Studio 2 Pro Upgrade and then the V1 to V2 voices separately, but I purchased them together. Unfortunately, none of the voices upgraded (except for MAI 2), which is disappointing given the significant amount of money spent to upgrade.
Edit: I attempted the process again, and while it partially worked, it now displays a message saying, “Thanks for purchasing this voice upgrade. Please select the product to upgrade from the list of eligible products below,” but nothing appears beneath that. Additionally, it shows “0/99 products selected,” preventing me from applying the upgrade since there are no options to choose from.
Never mind. I just now figured it out how to get the voicebanks in SVP2. Once again, though, I must thank you from your help from before.
Haha, quite confusing isn’t it.
Anyway, I’m glad you got it sorted!
