Unable to log in or activate

Just got Synthesizer V 2 Pro (app, not VST), but I can’t log in to download my voices or even activate my license. It just errors out a lot of times:

  • Line 10, Char 18, Error: Expected Identifier, Code: 0, URL: /onboarding
  • Line 35, Char 67, Error: Access is denied, Code: 0, URL: /onboarding
  • Line 10, Char 18, Error: Expected Identifier, Code: 0, URL: /onboarding/telemetry-consent
  • Line 35, Char 67, Error: Access is denied, Code: 0, URL: /onboarding/telemetry-consent
  • Line 10, Char 18, Error: Expected Identifier, Code: 0, URL: /my-products
  • Line 35, Char 67, Error: Access is denied, Code: 0, URL: /my-products

And prompts: “Do you want to continue running scripts on that page?” after each error, I just keep pressing “Yes” but it’s not doing anything except generate more errors.

Worth noting I have Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC, version 21H2, build 19044.4046. Internet Explorer is disabled (deleted). I re-enabled the IE engine in optional features, just not the UI, and it still gives me the same error. I tried the registry, the hosts file - nothing.

Because older systems lack Webview2, installing this can solve the problem:

Apparently when I reinstalled Microsoft Edge it launched normally, despite me already having the proper backend (WebView2 Runtime) - I guess not having Edge was the issue. Some dark magic this is.
