It is the third version of this song and the third arrangement. I sang the first version myself and my voice is used in this version as well and I added AI singing and my voice morphed in Vocoflex. I also AI singing morphed and transposed the vocals in Vocoflex. Asterian sings below me and Nyl, Cong Zheng and Natalie in my octave above me.

Another explanatory comment is on SoundCloud and there is also a link to the text translated into English.
So many voices… they seem out of place to me for this type of song. Other than as an experiment or learning experience, I wonder why you went with all those singers together throughout? I like the music groove a lot, but the vocals sort of overwhelm the misc for me.
hi gauzde
Nice version, but in the old forum I commented
Your voice is good for this music as is, I think
I actually like your 1st version best !
The vocal a tiny bit more up front, you would have been done
I like pure vocals, you have one, use it, don’t hide it
You don’t need A.I - you need more confidence:)
I take your criticism, but I rather expected it to be less acceptable to you, that the placement of the vocals is unusually low. Placing the vocals lower was my intention. I am an amateur singer who is always helped by a two-part or three-part with someone else. My oldest recording, which I sing by myself, has significantly the lowest listenership, although it has been significantly longer here on Soundcloud. So far, the recording with Asterian leads, which is also sung by Asterian himself, but he sings it more interestingly (I taught him that) and has a fuller voice (thanks to Eric Halloway). There are only three voices in the whole recording in this latest version of the song, and only in the chorus, which is only one, all five of us sing. Musicians and singers tell me if I want to be more successful, I should sing higher. However, the prevailing thing for me is that I create and sing for my own joy and my work is not financially valued. I only get paid for lyrics for music other authors I’ve written for professional bands. I like to listen to your music sometimes, like the music of others here. I value the opinion of each and every one of you. And I understand your criticism. But I am 74 years old and music is my solace for the remaining time I have.
You’re right, but that’s your professional opinion that carries professional weight. But the listeners are more comfortable with me, my perhaps somewhat dilettante approach that I demonstrate here. That’s why the differences in listenability in all variants. In the first recording, my voice is further from the microphone and I also sang on my older microphone. Today, I have the opportunity to sing under the supervision of an expert on a newer type of microphone, at an order of magnitude more expensive. I will use that in my new songs. I won’t sing this one again. Otherwise I need AI. As I teach the AI singers to sing, I learn from them at the same time. I also have singer friends who are better at singing than me, but I have a chance to perform some of these songs live with them and that will be an experience for me. Also, for the sake of interest, the AI singing, to which it is necessary to tune the singing in Czech, when I subconsciously correct their mistakes in pronunciation, causes me to remember the text more easily than when I diligently learn it mechanically.
I will be looking forward to your future projects gauzde:)
I feel as though I could have written this post myself! I’m in the same boat as you!! Keep up the great work!!
You said you had little skills, this tune proves otherwise. I have heard many a song on this forum that have way worse mixing/production values than yours.
I’ve been waiting to hear your songs for ages to see if they are as bad as you said they were but honestly, this is pretty good. Yes the mix might not be to everyone’s taste but so what. You like it. It has room for improvement but my mixes do as well but, like you, I’m happy with the feel of my songs. When we do these tunes for our own satisfaction and not to make money I think any song mix is better than not actually recording your songs.
Keep it up @gauzde
Fwiw- I got a lot from a regular free mixing seminar run under ‘fix the mix’ banners. There are lots of great tips provided. It’s worth searching for it online (or message me and I’ll send you a link when they announce the next one👍).
Thank you for your contribution. Maybe that’s how my contribution will sound sometimes, but Google Translate often doesn’t allow me to express what I really think. Especially in the details, it stubbornly translates the exact opposite. I write the contribution in Czech and translate it into English in Google Translate. I translate the English text into Czech again through Google Translate and sometimes it takes almost an hour of struggle before the back translation into Czech is somewhat identical to my original draft of the contribution in Czech. I guess AI has also started to be used in Google Translate. In earlier times, correction was easier and took less time. Currently, I am satisfied with my musical work, but I quite rightly feel at an amateur level and I enjoy listening to the work of others who surpass me, not only in financial success (that’s everyone who gets paid for music), but also in musical abilities. And they are almost all professionals. I have never received anything for my music, but that doesn’t bother me because I can do everything my own way and I am not dependent on the income. I received and still receive money for writing lyrics for professional bands. This put me in the “box - lyricist” in our Czech Republic and I will never get out of it and I will not convince many of our musicians that I also write music. “How could a lyricist write music when he only uses paper and pencil and helps himself with alcohol”. I have never created music or lyrics under the influence of alcohol. However, I do not avoid alcohol. I smile with exaggeration at my situation and I only post my songs on SoundCloud. I sometimes receive praise on several music forums from non-Czech contributors to these forums.
