Is it possible to try the beta while still keeping the current version for production? And if so, are the beta voices compatible with current production version (the download manager indicates they are not)
I am dying to try this out, but I don’t want to destabilize my production environment with a pre-beta version at this time.
I tested with a Chinese voicebank and noticed some problems with the “r” sound and the “pf” sound, but I don’t speak German myself so there may be more that I didn’t notice.
When using the ‘Split Unison into Tracks’ feature and setting the ‘Singers per Track’ to 1, the resulting tracks still sound phased and linked together instead of being independent tracks. This seems to be a bug?.
I don’t understand. I haven’t used this feature so I don’t know what it does and what is wrong. I know SynthV, so maybe you could describe and I can tell you if it’s wrong or not?
R in French becomes apical liquid instead of a uvular r, and the German R should sound the same but instead gets a t, d, s, and z sound
pf also becomes t - instead of pf I hear t. t sound like tea
How were you able to make it sound in musescore? mine is just silent
There seem to be trouble in musescore export, the audio is laggy ang does not render everything like it skips notes or something. Also when activating ARA it does not make a sound whatsoever.
When might non-Dreamtronics Co. voicebanks be updated to the new beta version?
I updated but was disappointed to see that my Kasane Teto AI voicebank was not included with the beta.
Well, I think the original posting in this thread tells us that this ‘preview’ may or may not see a beta release followed by a new non-beta version.
Maybe non-DT voices will be updated on or after final release, some may never take advantage of any new abilities. For Kasane Teto, it would be up to AHS to make the decision.
I’d like to point out that when I try to change the voice version to the latest version 204b1 Cubase 15 consistently crashes completely.
This happens on sections that contain custom pronunciation settings.
And it’s even worse if I just want to change the voice, because the latest beta version is loaded, the whole thing crashes again.

I think you’re misunderstanding. The two words should have the same vowel
The word Fluch is misspelled as f l U x but it should be f l u x. Or with your workaround is f l u U x. But f l U x is definitely not correct
For me it’s all about workarounds and it (ever) will be.
Believe me , not every u or U or whatever wovel sounds the same for each word in whatever the language (even supported) you’re trying to replicate in vocal synths.
You’ll ever encounter little inconsistencies that have to be “workarounded”.
