I had a lot of fun doing this. It was a collaboration Work with my friend Glen Cooper, Who again provided the lyrics. This was about my third or fourth attempt at combining Band In A Box Features with Synth V. Hope you enjoy my effort. Thank you.
nicely done. last few years i’ve been using Hookpad for capturing the song arrangement, exporting MIDI into my DAW, then replacing some parts with other MIDI or recordings from EZKeys or EZBass, lots of drum edits, and often BIAB to to do the “solos” - typically i create the song solo arrangement parts and then find a style like the one i’m going for, or something completely not like it - and then like a producer - have the “soloist” keep working on it until i have a good performance. that is exported (99% as audio) and added to the DAW project.
its sometimes amazes me how BIAB soloists can come together such that it’s not only mostly how i might have done, but many time way better…
cheers!
Which voice is taking the lead in this?
I had a lot of fun listening to this. Wonderful vintage feel!
This song was started in Vocaloid 6. Using the AI voice of Allen. The when I finally discovered Synth V I transferred the *.vpr from Voc. to synthV. And used Saros. It was a lot of work to re-edit all the phonemes at first. Then a lot of voice manipulation to get tit to sound fairly decent at the time, But I am definitely getting better at it, now as I have got Vocoflex to reshape the voices that I use so far.
