Shifting Emphasis

Another newbie question here - I have this section of vocal but the emphasis on ‘realised’ is on the third syllable ‘lised’ as a short stacatto burst, where I’m looking for it to be a longer ‘liiiised’ if that makes sense

It is easy enough to export and change the wav file in Cubase, but I’d really like to learn a better SV technique to solve similar problems down the line.

In your Note Properties, you can lengthen the duration of the “ay” phoneme.

Riiiight … now I get it!

I think I’m about to disappear down a rabbit hole of endlessly tweaking what is already an excellent rendering … see you all on the other side

Been there (often), done that. Depending on what you want the result to sound like I don’t think it is unreasonable to spend a few days on parameter editing, I spent a full week on one song.
And don’t overlook the option of “wrong” spellings to get the pronunciation you want, such as maybe “realised” becoming “rearlyzd” - no idea what that would sound like but the idea is to try and tweak. … then start entering phonemes directly :face_with_spiral_eyes:
