Only after I had written the lyrics of this song, I started thinking about their possible meaning. Hearing the bad news from all over the world, I came upon the idea that “New Jerusalem” could stand as a metaphor for a social and political ideal that, one way or another, everybody bears in his mind. Today, democracy as the one ideal that in the past decades seemed to have become the most attractive goal in many parts of the world, is threatened by dictators, autocrats, populists, opportunists and their followers, and the song might express the feeling of helplessness in the face of this growing threat.

A beautiful song set in Jerusalem with a mood. And also a tasteful musical accompaniment, which has its authenticity in that it is not glued together from samples, although I do not condemn this technique, but I prefer the music of live musicians the most.
Thank you very much! - “You’re as kind as the gentle winds that blow”
