For the Synthesizer V Studio category:
It should either be split into SV1 and SV2 or have tags added to differentiate posts.
Additionally, it’d be nice to have tags for bug reports and feature requests.
For the Showroom category:
Language and AI Instrumental tags would be helpful. Language is self explanatory.
For the AI Instrumental tag, I just prefer not to listen to songs including them, and I’m sure many other users would appreciate this.
As mentioned in this post, it would also be nice to have Cover/Original tags.
I know this isn’t quite what you are suggesting but the old forum did have post language tags, Eng, Ch, Ja if I remember correctly but they were so rarely used. Now the same thing is done via seperate categories.
Maybe that lack of use was a contributing factor to not having them at all in this new forum.
Previous discussions about AI have descended into debates as to where ‘AI’ actually starts, are you using AI in SynthV?
It would be nice to have clear indication of when somebody has actually written their own material though!
Separate categories for languages makes it harder to tell what kind of post it is, so tags are better in my opinion.
On the AI part, I specified AI instrumentals as most SV voicebanks are AI.
I’m fine with SV AI as it’s not sourced unethically and it doesn’t actually take away from the creative process.
