If one purchases the upgrade, does this mean that SV1 and SV2 can run on different computers?
You can install both version on the same computer.
Not what I asked !!!
Both version on the same computer in the same time and DAW. And also as soon as you have an activation code, you can install V2 on any computer you have I gess. To be sure ask directly to the support.
As your SynthV pro licence allows for up to three simultaneous installs I cannot imagine there would be a problem running different versions simultaneously on two machines.
Voice bank licencing may be a different matter, some allow only a single activation so would only work on one computer, each voice bank will need separately checking.
I read that information on the net also but in fact when you read EULA:
Blockquote
8 The license granted by us to the user allows the product to be installed only on one computer. The user shall not install the product on multiple computers with a single license.
So SynthV & Voicebank could be installed only on 1 computer.
But I could imagine a computer with SynthV V1 and voicebanks V1.
And another one with all V2.
This is my understanding, hence the âquick questionâ.
I have Synth V pro V1 installed in 2 computers (my âmusic productionâ desktop and my laptop) and runs in both, no issues.
No issue with double voicebank activations?
My belief is that some will allow this, some will NOT. I think AHS are stricter than DT for instance.
No issue with Dreamtonics or Eclipsed Sounds VBs on my 2 computers.
Cool even if it does not comply with their EULA License.
Yes, I have SV Pro on two computers too. With Solaria, Kevin, NineZero, Felicia and Hayden on both, along with some of the free voices. No issues with activation whatsoever.
I have V2 on pre-order, with upgrades for all voices. When we actually have access to the program, weâll be able to answer the question.
