Hi. I have used synth v for a while, and I love it, but it’s hard for me to really use it, because the playhead is not syncing with Cubase. I’m considering upgrading to synth v2 just to make the syncing better, so do anybody know if the syncing is better in v2?
Transport sync works fine for me here on Cubase 14 Pro with both V1 and V2.
Do you have the audio track with a random audio clip on it using the ARA extension? Then you should see the ‘ARA Bridge’ motif on the top right of the window light up. If it isn’t then ARA bridge is not working.
If you are using ‘full’ ARA mode then sorry I can’t help - I only use Bridge mode.
yes, I’m in normal Ara bridge mode with the green light, but the playhead is not syncing with the sound. The playhead is a little ahead of the sound. I’m on a Apple Mac Mini M2.
Hmmm … Mac is out of my comfort zone. I’m on Windows 11.
Nothing just as simple as latency? I’m working on a final mix with all the heavyweight plugins working and the playhead is WAY out of step, but that’s to be expected.
Have you tried it with ‘Constrain Latency’ button engaged, to test the latency theory?

I tried something with latency, it didn’t work. However I finnaly found out it was because of a plugin on the channel. I feel so stupid, but thanks for trying to help:)
No problem - I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve asked questions on various forums … where the problem has been me. Duh!
