When playing back, the head always stops where I stop it, i used to be able to choose to have it return to starting position. Is this possible in V2?
Yeah, I don’t see that option anymore. You could assign a shortcut to go back to the beginning. It will be a two step process though. I guess you could write a simple script to stop then go to beginning and just assign a shortcut to that.
Except I don’t want the beginning, just the beginning of the current phrase. This is perhaps the most important omission, i use a loop as a work-around, but it’s not the same.
When you say “current phrase”, what do you mean, like a highlighted group of notes? Doesn’t the loop solve your problem? You could do the “Loop selected notes”–using the transport controls will send you to the beginning of the loop, doesn’t it?
That was exactly what I needed, thanks. I assumed that was to send you to the END of the current track. It didn’t display a tooltip, so I didn’t follow up. I wonder when they will have a manual for Version 2, the old help is generally useless.
Yes, we need a complete new version for V2.
The new beta 2.1.0b1 (crashed on Windows 11) has a new icon with the missing tooltip.
