Pasting - Why does the pitch deviation go unusable?

We have song where the lyrics and melody was sorted.

We then decided to switch verses 4 and 6 around and remove the second bridge.

I removed the second bridge lyrics and copied and cut verse 4 and pasted it into the new gap. This appeared to mostly work, with some deviations I will need to fix.

I then copy and cut verse 6, when I paste it onto verse 4, all the pitch deviation are all over the place and the verse sounds terrible.

Original

New after paste

Help!

Update: Tried grouping the notes before the copy and paste. That didn’t work either. That broke verse 4 when I pasted it

Select all the new notes transpose them up or down any semitones and then put them back in the right tonality. Should work

Thank you. I’ll try that!

I think the issue is the pitch deviation either isn’t copied correctly, or it is mixed with the previous pitch deviation.

I Just duplicated the track and removed all the notes except say verse 4. All the pitch deviation is still there for the notes I deleted.

Edit
It is the pitch deviation isn’t copied with the pasting.

I flattened the pitch deviation for the area I wanted, then pasted the verse into where it now needs to be,

So I now have a horrible robot sound…

Yeah, I have sussed it…

When selecting the notes, right mouse click and choose the option “Select Parameters for notes”

Then do the copy and paste.

I should probably re-read the manual again!
