Only ARA plugin available in Logic Pro

Hi,
Mac M1 OSX 15.1.1
Synth V Studio 2.1.0

Standalone app works fine, but in Logic Pro, when I add an Instrument track, I can only see ARA plugin is available.
The VST plugin is present under Library, but it is unavailable under Logic.

Anyone had the same issue?
Thank you
Roberto

If you are on Apple Silicon you need to run Logic under Rosetta for ARA to work.

I don’t want to use ARA, I want the VST plugin to work.

Sorry, I misunderstood. But then you must mean the AU plugin as VST does not work in Logic. The ARA plugin is an Audio effect while the “normal” Synth V plugin is an instrument that you load on an Instrument track. You don’t see both at the same time as they have two different functions.

Thanks for your reply. It may very possibly be that I’m doing things wrong. I’m trying to add Synth V plugin on a Instrument Track under its Audio FX menu. Please see image

Oooh I think I got it! The instrument track had a Piano plugin loaded, so I need to change that. Thanks @hummersallad for pointing me in the right direction! :grinning:

Just load it as a virtual instrument from the instrument tab instead
