Great backing track (almost sounds live), timing and lyrics, but I think the vocals could do with being a bit drier and more up-front.

Certainly is a funky groove! It does seem like the chorus ought to be on a different chord or something, to more clearly distinguish it from the verse parts.

I agree with Synchro and Keith Parks. Great rhythm mix, but the vocals need to be more up-front. It gets better after the solo. For the chorus I’d just go to a IV chord, simple but effective. Also, fade out, the ending doesn’t quite fit. (All just my opinion. YMMV.) …Nice work.

Groovy stuff! I can certainly appreciate this style of funk. Did you play any of the instruments or is it from loops or something?
