Multiple problems in V2

I’m not going to list my installation and bug problems with V2.
I can summarize my woes by saying that I have gone back to V1 for now.
(I’m using Studio One, if that matters to anyone)

So my question for now is:
What is the expected/current turnaround time for a help request?
I entered my first request well over a week ago. I got the email that says they have received my request, but nothing beyond that.
I’m waiting for a response before I send requests about other issues.

Any sort of reply from Dreamtonics, other that an automatically generated one would help me in my quest for patience.

I gotta say, I have no idea why Dreamtonics did this big launch. They should have released it quietly, and let it permeate before doing some promo to get more people. They’re a tiny team, and it must be a huge strain to provide support to their entire customer base for a new product. I have never received a meaningful (ie, one other than the standard, its busier than usual) response to my request, which was a post purchase, but pre-release issue. It was resolved and allowed me to download my purchases, but they have never followed up.

Is it possible that your problem has been fixed in one of the updates, and they assume that you have already discovered this, so didn’t bother responding? Definitely worth trying SV2 again, just in case. A lot of issues have been resolved.

I was one of the first to grumble (big time!) about the V2 release, and it is clear that early adopters have been used as unpaid beta testers, but as @themidimachine says, Dreamtonics have released a succession of bug fixes since launch and I am a lot happier with the facilities and performance than I was initially.

It seems that the very small dev team are swamped, so if you raise your problems here on the forum, there seems to be plenty of support and goodwill from the forumistas to help others out.

I don’t see any way in the interface to check for updates. Obviously, I’d like to try that. Can you help me?

You can turn on automatically check for updates in the Settings > General panel. You can also check your version number from the splash screen on startup or by menu - Misc > About. We’re on 2.0.5.

Thanks!
I’ve got auto updates on, and I’m on 2.0.5.
