Missing terminal "V" sound

I’m not hearing the final V sound in words like “drive” and “arrive”. Natalie and Felicia (at least) just fade out with closing off the V.

I’ve tried a couple AI tweaks (although I confess, I’m just pressing buttons without any idea what they might or are supposed to do :roll_eyes: ). No effect.

(For that matter, I have no idea what the Pitch, Timbre and Pronoun specifics in Vocal Mode panel are supposed to do. I just move the compound dial around).

Any ideas?

You might also add a short closure phoneme (cl) to the end of the word:

Despite being called a “closure”, it will give it more of a release.

I tried both of these techniques. Got some good results on one (drive) with “cl”. The other was a long held (three measures) dramatically high and loud “arrive”, which nothing worked on. But I can live with. The word is implicit in the context.
