Mai and Synth V

Hello,
I managed to acquire Synth V through a promotion at NATIVE INSTRUMENT. It included 2 voices: NATALI and KEVIN. Later, I realized that MAI was normally provided for free. And that it could be downloaded and installed, which I did. But it turns out that I don’t know where to find a serial number for this voice, in order to register it in the new Dreamtonics system. Have you encountered this problem? How did you solve it? Otherwise, for others, how did you get MAI? Thank you in advance for your answers !

Currently there is no serial. It’s a free bank only.
On March 21st with the new SynthV 2, a Mai compatible voice bank will then be available. With I suppose a serial activation code to register it.
And also with this SynthV 2 purchase, you will have the choice between a free V2 voice bank among: Mai 2, Liam, Mo Xu.

I thought I understood that since I already have the free Mai, next month I will be able to register and activate that original Mai and then it would qualify for the upgrade offer. Is this right?

For example, I have the following,

  • Felicia
  • Kevin
  • Natalie
  • Hayden
  • ASTERIAN (from Eclipsed but bought at Dreamtonics)
  • SOLARIA (from Eclipsed but bought at Dreamtonics)
  • Mai (free with Synth V 1)

It appears I will be required to buy the upgrades for ASTERIAN and SOLARIA directly from Eclipsed so they cannot be a part of the Dreamtonics upgrade deal but I hope that is changed since I bought them directly from Dreamtonics and they really should be part of that upgrade deal!

But, if I must buy Eclipsed voices separately, I will have 4 voices eligible for upgrade which will cost $69.00.

If I get Mai in my account next month will I actually have 5 voices I can upgrade for $79? AND get Liam included with V2 upgrade?

All users need information about this, but it is more about expectations than facts. If Dreamtonics includes Mai in the choice of 3 V2 voice banks, it is rather a way to exclude Mai from the “Any” voice upgrade offer. That is what I think (from a business point of view). We just have to wait for further clarification from them.
