Lyrics not always visible; No Tooltips

Am new to Synthesizer V Pro 2.06, although used previous version. Two problems:

  1. Lyrics only appear if note is mouse-clicked. On old version they were there all the time. Can’t see any straightforward way of making lyrics permanently visible.

  2. Tooltips are set on in ‘Settings / General’. However, when hovering mouse pointer over something that should have tooltip, all I get is an empty translucent rectangle that looks as though it should have text in, but doesn’t have any.

Any thoughts please?

There was something about disabling 2D GUI rendering or some such that fixes UI rendering problems. I’m of the cult of V1, but yeah, have a look around for that and disable it. See if that don’t fix it. I can’t think of too much worse than not seeing all the lyric words all the time.

Disabling ‘Use Dirct2D for GUI Rendering’ cured both problems!
