Instead of making a V2, why not fix the Logic problems first?!?

The ONLY way to get SV to work in Logic so far is:

  1. Import FROM WITHIN THE SV PLUGIN an existing MIDI track from your drive.
  2. Use the tool WITHIN THE SV PLUGIN to draw notes. (This method is for programmers, not musicians.)

YOU CANNOT:

  1. Drag MIDI/piano roll from another track onto the SV plugin window. Does not work at all.
  2. Record onto the SV Plugin itself.

When I play the MIDI keyboard and the SV Plugin track is active, it plays a synth sound. But if you hit RECORD in LOGIC, it DOES NOT RECORD INTO THE SV PLUGIN. It records onto the Logic track selected instead.

If you hit the RECORD BUTTON WITHIN SV (which really really stupidly DOES NOT SHOW UP UNLESS YOU CLICK ON WHERE IT’S SUPPOSED TO BE FIRST! Argh!) then LOGIC WILL NOT PLAY. Only the SV internal track plays and lets you record onto the SV internal track.

THIS IS WHAT LOGIC USERS NEED:

  1. When we hit RECORD in LOGIC, then the selected SV Plugin SHOULD FREAKING RECORD THOSE MIDI NOTES WE’RE PLAYING. Or:
  2. When hitting the Record button WITHIN the SV Plugin, Logic should play, too! (AND STOP HIDING THE DAMNED TRANSPORT! ARG!)

I’m getting sick of having to keep exporting/importing MIDI files into the SV plugin.

BTW, starting Logic in Rosetta doesn’t help one bit with these issues. Also Rosetta sux and is a dinosaur.

p.s. I freaking LOVE the tracks I can make with SV! So beautiful!

I agree and I am using Logic too! But please report this to:
