Great to have the forum back! I originally did this with Natalie last year but wanted to try it with Saros’s powerful voice but needed to change the melody lines to best fit the vocal range. I think the vibe is a lot creepier than the Natalie version. Probably the video more than the singing, but still very different. Thanks for watching and welcome back everybody!
Cool track, well done
Thanks, Skelly. Much appreciated.
cool track. i might suggest you could also use Ninezero for this or harmonies since he tends to exude Ozzy vibes
Thanks, Fossile. Not familiar with Ninezero, but will check him out.
This is a really cool song, you create a spooky haunting mood.
The piano and synth/organ do some really nice and almost(?) dissonant stuff, I would emphasize that even more, like John Carpenter did in his Halloween songs.
There is nothing more creepy than a downward piano cadence with some deliberately wrong notes in it.
Thanks BDT. That’s an interesting idea. I have an instrumental piece with some really dissonant progressions that could make a nice Halloween song for next year.
Really nice song, I love the progression and the vintage rock sound.
Thanks, Arthelion. Since you like orchestra rock, you might like this epic 3-part sci-fi prog rock trilogy I recently finished Journey to the Beginning of Time - 18-minute Prog Rock Adventure. It’s almost an hour long in total, but part 2 - Follow the Light https://youtu.be/1iVmnnzIu-0?si=rz-LfY-n4r5Y70KU is my favorite musically, but the finale, Destiny https://youtu.be/_jGw5dxy4mQ?si=jhZZe2TXi3h1TLKb has an orchestra.
Great music, great Saros and I admire how well you do with Kaiber. Nice show and pleasant listening…
Just finished listening to the Journey to the beginning of time and it’s pretty amazing, such a huge work both for music and video.
As a huge Dream Theater fan, I also like prog music, and this one worth the listening.
The beginning of “Follow the light” sounds promising too, I’m gonna listen to the whole thing later.
I thought you might like them. Us prog-orchestra-space-opera fans have to stick together .
