First, thanks for the quick answer.
On Synth V2 there is no folder “Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/Dreamtonics/Synthesizer V Studio/dicts”. It only exists in V1 …
Please help …
Yes documentation is always in V1 for this example path.
The easiest way to access this path is to click on the script menu in SynthV2 and then on the item “open script folder”. So the explorer opens direct on the good folder with: databases, dicts, scripts, settings…
I got it. And so I copied the file “ENG-GER1.0_EclipsedSounds.json” to the sub-folder “dicts”. But no dictionary is showing up in Synth V2.
It seems that when you create a new dictionary, a subfolder (English-arpabet or Japanese-romaji) is created based on the voice used.
This subfolder (like the settings…) is only created if you exit SynthV 2.
Then, you can move your dictionary from dict to dict\english-arpabet or another subfolder created for your corresponding voice bank.
Then restart SynthV 2 and the dictionary should load.
Wow - this was the solution! Thx
Thank you for that info, I was able to create mine as well.
In the Finder you have to push and hold “option” (alt) and navigate to “go to” library in order to make the whole path to the Dics visible.
