Everything seems to work great running it as a plugin in the DAW, except when exporting (especially to a wav at high quality [32 float / 512 sinc]) I am consistently getting issues, sometimes subtle (like a brief, high-freq blip at the very start), other times horrendous (silence, followed by loud noise and distortion, again, at the very start). Anyone else getting this? Or anyone else NOT getting this?
- Do you get these artifacts even if you just start a clean FLStudio->Load project->export?
- Did you try with plugin options → processing → allow smart disable set to off?
I had similar artifacts several time. I think SV has a memory leak, which gets worse over time .
Most of the times restarting FLStudio and exporting again works fine.
Thanks for the response, to both points, yes, I did try those and still got artifacts (I just tested point 2 after reading your message).
Similarly, I have gotten a couple exports that were just fine after multiple attempts though (sometimes without even restarting FL), but that seems to be the exception rather than the rule.
I was wondering if it is a memory thing too.
I have the same problems. I have to export multiple times to get a file without audible artifacts at the beginning. Sometimes I would get complete silence as a result of export.
The question is does Dreamtonics monitors these threads?
I will probably send them support email, even though on my last support emails I got no response except for auto CRM emails
I managed to get around the export issue in FL Studio. In my case, the problem was with the FL Studio ASIO audio driver. After changing the FL Studio configuration to the Windows driver, the problem disappeared.
