Any SynthV teachers/trainers for hire here or anywhere?

I have SV Pro and its working fine but I’d really like to work 1:1 with a true SV expert that can help show me how to make certain phrasing etc. I know there are videos on youtube and all that but I don’t mind paying for someone to hold my hand and work on some tracks in real time to show me the full power of SV. BTW this is for realistic sounding vocals, not vocaloid. Please help

Thanks.

I’m teaching myself Synthesizer V (vs 1.11.2) at the moment and enjoying the voyage of discovery!

I’m also learning Vocaloid 6.5 and the sounds have come a long way in the latest update.

Hope you find what you’re looking for?

Hi. Thanks for the reply, but I the vocaloid genre is not for me, does that Vocaloid 6.5 also do realistic like normal singing?

Hi, didn’t you click on the Gumi link - you can hear both Synth V and Vocaloid examples.

Are you near any major city? If so which one? That would be actual 1:1.

Ahh yes you are right, it sounds good but there is still a strong Japanese accent or something, it sounds like an anime to me.

Manila haha, I might be the only one in the country with a SynthV license.

You might be surprised - I was amazed to find out the top expert for Amplesound lives in the same small town I live in (in California). It’s a small world!

Yes, that is because Megpoid Gumi is a Japanese voicebank - it’s the only one I have both as Synthesizer V and Vocaloid 6 voicebanks.

I have a British English accent and most of the voicebank that say ‘English’ are not! I’m hoping with Synthesizer V 2 there will be better scope to customise voices to sound more British and less American or Australian (Ninezero), but we’ll see?

For the sake of comparison, if you’re interested here are 8 of the 20 free voices that come with Vocaloid6:

  • Akito (Japanese)
  • Allen (English)
  • Asahi (Japanese)
  • Brian (English
  • Lucas (English)
  • Matthew (English)
  • Naoki (Japanese)
  • Taku (Japanese)

… what they sound like:

Thanks for this! I’m not sure if its just the song or what but it seems to me that Synth V sounds much more realistic.

Yes, I think everyone would agree that Synthesiser V sounds more realistic and version 2 will definitely be a welcome move forward. I only put up these short demos to illustrate that Vocaloid isn’t yet ready to be written off.

Like you, I’m a beginner and I bought Vocaloid before I discovered Synthesiser V and I am happy to use it for my silly little ditties after all if it wasn’t for early Vocaloid pioneers we perhaps wouldn’t have the latest developments we see coming out now. :clap:t2:
