I just bought the version two upgrade. When I tried to register it, I got a message saying that I needed to first input the original activation code from the older version. When I logged into my account, it shows no registered assets whatsoever. Has anyone run into this? I see no way to retrieve my original activation code.
Mine was in my original purchase emails
go to my.dreamtonics.com and register your V1 and V2 activation codes there - that will allow you to download your stuff.
The issue here is that I cannot find the activation code for the first version. There is nothing listed under my user account.
@Rollo It is in the email that you get when purchasing V1.
Unfortunately, I no longer have that email due to a server crash.
I got a response from Dreamtonics support. They say the codes are listed in my order details. They are not. Who is supporting this company?
Hi Rollo,
Did you look under Orders in your Dreamtonics account (portal) ?
You can find the activation code under Orders, if you registered it
Log in here https://dreamtonics.com/en/synthesizerv/
Then at the top click on STORE - then click on MY ACCOUNT
This opens the portal - on the right click on ORDERS (2nd)
All you orders are then listed - find the V1 order (prob by date) - open it
There you can find your ACTIVATION CODE
A bit of a run around:)
You can also direct enter the portal here - https://store.dreamtonics.com/my-account/
Hope this helps!
I did precisely that. There are no codes listed. I sent a screenshot. Did you look at it?
Hi Rollo,
Which screenshot ? - I see no screenshot from you ?
This is what I can see in the portal …
?
Your image cuts off exactly at the info point
What is written above that ORDER DETAILS > above = ORDER UPDATES
Is there no info above (=activation code) ?
@Rollo From the email: “This email is an important proof of your Synthesizer V license and should be kept in a safe place. When you need to reinstall the software, the activation information can be found in this email”.
So you left it on a server?
Heard back from support. They messed up my account when they changed their system because I am an early customer. The codes are now properly listed in my account. FYI, you do NOT need the email with the codes since they should always be listed in your account under “orders”.
But maintaining your own list of these codes, however you do that, can save some greif and delays when they are required, especially if you have voices from multiple suppliers.
There’s really no need for it. I don’t think I’ve ever had to do that with any vendor in a long time. As I said, those details should always be in your user account.
