Hi! I am trying to prepare to upgrade for the version 2 updates (editor, some voices).
I understand that I have to use the new product manager.
I am trying to add the things I already own. The system then asks for a five number activation code, but I don’t know where to get that?
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
When you purchase this, you will receive a coresponding activation code:
upgrade-for-voice-databases-2-0
Thank you. But I understood I first had to register my previous purchases in the new product manager (version one of synth v, version one solaria,…).
Do you think that is not neccesarry and that I just need to make the new purchase (synth v 2, solaria 2,…) and register them there?
How will the product manager ‘know’ that I am eligible for upgrade (since I own the previous version)?
You will first need to register your original version on the account. For this you will need the activation number you were given when you first purchased the voice.
Once the original version shows up in your account, add the upgrade product code and you’ll get the option to select voice for upgrade.
Also thanks! That’s what I was thinking.
Hmm. I’m afraid I didn’t see a five digit number in those mails and I might not have them all anymore.
I will have to recover them via support (which seem very busy and not responding over weeks).
Anyone know of a different route to recover those original activation codes?
There is none. Only Dreamtonics support can do it (more securely).
It isn’t 5 digits, it will be five groups of five characters, 25 characters in total. A mixture of letters and digits.
You will have been given this code and either a download site link or instructions on where to find the download.
Thank you! That already clarifies a lot. I misunderstood that just from looking at how it was presented. Should be possible to register some things now, but sadly I’m missing some older purchase emails…
Try contacting whoever you purchased them from and try to explain this, every other case of ‘lost licenses’ due to computer failure or whatever all seem to have been resolved quite quickly.
Thank you for your advice!
