Very nice voice work and a great melody working around your chord progression! I love the final exhale at the end. Very clever use of the -BR-.

It was hard work if I’m being honest.
I always start with the vocal melody and sort of hear the chords as I’m doing that but seeing as I’m not that experienced I don’t hear all the options and I then get the ‘colour’ by experimentation.
There is a lot of ‘outside’ stuff going on throughout and I find that I get used to dissonance quite quickly so after I rest my ears, I come back and realise how inaccessible or just ‘wrong’ what I’ve done really is.
I’m very much a work in progress here but overall I’m very pleased with this as it’s pushed me into unfamiliar territory and while those who are proficient in more complex/jazzy stuff might find a lot here to improve upon, I do feel I am now in a better place than I was to tackle whatever it is I do next.
